Sky Medical Center will be opened in 2012, replacing the existing Building. The newly built, modern facility will provide the service and personal care, the hospital planned to accommodate 200 BED. We have been implementing The BIM technology with our Client, architects, and engineers. We want to expand this to the entire market, especially in Egypt & the Middle East, and make it a hub for the successful implementation of BIM. Signature & Crownhome team worked with the Arab Contractor (Special Building Department) to build a BIM model of the Hospital based on the
existing tendered design drawings. BIM was used to build a 4D construction sequencing animation that highlighted the construction progress at milestone dates. The 4D animation was used to plan and communicate the construction strategy and key finish dates, plus extract quantities throughout the construction of the building.
